Give me a good bookstore, a library, or honestly just a café with a window, and I'll disappear into a sketchbook for hours. I'm a Colombian illustrator currently living in the U.S., and yes... I own more books than I'll ever have time to read. I don't see that as a problem.

I get a little too excited about art in any form, and I have a real soft spot for animals, plants, and the strange little worlds nature builds on its own. That's basically the whole recipe behind everything I draw: books plus nature plus creatures that feel like they have their own personalities, even the ones with roots instead of legs.

Some pieces here end up on a nursery wall, others next to a well-loved bookshelf, either way, I hope they bring a little joy and warmth to wherever they land.
