Bienvenido a MistoraDesign, un pequeño estudio en Toronto donde se crean tarjetas de felicitación lentamente, con mucho cuidado, una taza de café y, generalmente, un ganso canadiense o un zorro muy curioso en la página.
Siempre he creído que una tarjeta no necesita ser llamativa para ser inolvidable. Los diseños son suaves, románticos y un poco extravagantes: gansos invernales caminando bajo fuegos artificiales, un tímido mapache sostenido con delicadeza por dos manos, zorros esperando en la linde de un bosque. Cada pieza comienza como una ilustración, y luego se organiza cuidadosamente para que los márgenes, los colores y los pequeños detalles queden perfectos.
Las tarjetas se imprimen en lotes pequeños en papel grueso y táctil, se recortan una a una y se empaquetan de forma sencilla pero elegante. A veces les incluyo un pequeño marcapáginas o una sorpresa extra, simplemente un agradecimiento discreto por elegir algo de mi pequeño rincón de internet.

Welcome to MistoraDesign — a small studio in Toronto where greeting cards are slow-made with a lot of care, a cup of coffee, and usually a very curious Canada goose or fox on the page.
I’ve always believed that a card doesn’t need to shout to be unforgettable. The designs here are soft, romantic, a little whimsical: winter geese walking under fireworks, a shy raccoon held gently in two hands, foxes waiting at the edge of a forest. Every piece starts as an illustration, then is carefully arranged so the margins, colours and tiny details all feel just right.
Cards are printed in small batches on thick, tactile paper, trimmed one by one, and packed simply but beautifully. Sometimes I tuck in a little bookmark or extra surprise, just a quiet thank-you for choosing something from my tiny corner of the internet.
