Neptune's Jewels

Together with his wife Jen, artist Martin manufactures clouds, belts & clasps, bottle stoppers and rings, knobs and jewellery to match the maritime theme. Thanks to the ANCHORS, MERMAIDS, OCTOPUSES, SEAGULLS & MOIN'S you can hear the sound of the sea and the fog horns of the ocean giants even in the middle of the big city. At the 10th degree of longitude in Stampe, just behind Kiel, is the studio with showroom.

Jen: is a trained shoemaker and dance & gymnastics teacher, has managed an event agency for several years and refurbished furniture.

Martin: Coming from a family of artists, his parents sculptor & goldsmith, the handling of different materials, as well as drawing and designing, was already a matter of course for him in his childhood. Since studying art in 1999, he has been working in his sculptural activity primarily on larger-than-life human figures, most of which are naturalistic, in surreal situations and relationships to each other. Certainly one of the more well-known works is the green group of figures on the station forecourt Westerland on SYLT.
