About me
As a trained shepherdess, I have been involved in the processing and refinement of wool for over twenty years. On Berlin children's farms, I managed numerous projects with children and adults: from sheep shearing and the preparation of wool to spinning, dyeing and felting. Inspired by this experience, I founded my own small business in 2008 under the name P.E.B. Design.
In particular, the Japanese nuno technique, in which a new fabric is created from wool and silk, fascinates me. The noble character of the silk remains unchanged, whereas the felted wool receives an atypically filigree structure.
Most of my works are created in this technique and are made by me in my small Berlin studio or in my workshop in Frankenfelde.
