En realidad, esto era más bien un sueño de tienda de dulces que se fue haciendo realidad. Retrocedamos un poco: como familia, pasamos mucho tiempo viajando a Latinoamérica, visitando a la familia y disfrutando de la cultura. Siempre volvíamos con la mayor cantidad de snacks posible, tantos como pudiéramos meter en la maleta, snacks que sabíamos que serían difíciles de encontrar en Estados Unidos. Esto nos hizo pensar: si nos encantan estos snacks, ¡abrir una tienda de dulces y snacks sería una idea genial! ¡Así que nos pusimos manos a la obra!
Buscamos por todas partes dulces latinoamericanos para la tienda de dulces de nuestros sueños. Sin embargo, con el tiempo, y a medida que probábamos más dulces, nos dimos cuenta de que cada uno nos acercaba más a la cultura y la herencia de su origen. Fue una experiencia increíble. ¡Y entonces, eureka! ¿Acaso éramos los únicos a quienes les encantaría esto? Y así nació Pachanga Box.
This is really more of a candy store dream that grew. Let's back up a little: As a family we spent a long time traveling back and forth to Latin America, visiting family and enjoying the culture. An invariable was that each time we would always make sure to come back with as many snacks as we could fit in our suitcase, snacks we knew we would have a hard time finding in the US. This got us thinking: if we love these snacks, opening a candy/snack store with them would be a great idea! So we got to work!
We searched far and wide for Latin American candy for our dream candy store. However, as time went on, and more snacks were snacked, we realized that each snack we tried led us to feel closer to the culture and heritage of its origin. It was an incredible experience. Then, eureka! Surely we can't be the only ones who would love this? And so, Pachanga Box was born.
