I am Ruth, avid earring collector and wearer. I share my heritage with people like Patra, Lady Saw, and Louise Bennett. Root and Hope was created in New Jersey and heavily influenced by the “Roots, Rock, Reggae!” of Jamaica, the country I call home.
Root & Hope offers handmade jewelry for everyone who wishes to have their culture identified and represented. Jewelry, one of the most visible accessories can whisper quietly or speak loudly. It is easily seen and can express aspects of the wearer that describes a part of their culture or group they belong to.
