This is a true 1/1, handcrafted with artisonry and an impressive attention to species detail that would impress any mycophile. Philip was awesome to work with, a true magician able to make this idea in my head become a showpiece on my bookcase.

this is my third purchase. that alone should tell you how much I love them. they have become my most prized possessions. the detail continues to mesmerize me. if you've ever foraged a lobster mushroom, you know the slug bites and little craters they leave. all the dirt that finds its way into the crevices. not one detail was missed, and this one might be my favorite so far.

My order arrived quickly and was packaged well. The sculpture itself is absolutely breathtaking. If it were lying on the forest floor I'd mistake it for a real trumpet.

This is my second sculpture purchase from saprophyte studio and it won't be my last. They are truly incredible. My husband and our guests are amazed by them. They are great references when teaching/talking about foraging. The details of the dirt and leaf litter on the cap top and edges is perfection. I keep mine in glass domes which I think is the best way to display them.

I am completely obsessed with these delicate sculptures. They are true works of art! As a forager and artist, my appreciation for these sculptures is endless. I cannot wait to build my collection.

Smooth, beautiful, and just the right size to hold in the palm. I've got it sitting on my shelf and I absolutely adore it!

I bought this mushroom to use when I'm building clay pots. I use it to shape and round the neck or top of a pot. I needed a large one and Philip was very kind and made one especially for me on the larger side. It works really well for what I needed it for. Thank you Philip!
