Here are several helpful tips to help keep your beaded jewelry beautiful for years:
- You should not wear beaded jewelry while doing household or outdoor chores (cleaning, washing dishes, gardening, etc.)
- You should never wear your beaded jewelry when washing hands, swimming or showering. Water will weaken the threads in your seed beaded jewelry. The chlorine can cause damage to some finishes on seed beads, various gemstones, etc.
- Jewelry should only be put on after washing and applying any makeup, hair spray, gels, lotions or perfume.
- Try to protect any jewelry from harsh chemicals, extreme temperatures and sunlight
- Always try to store your beaded necklaces or bracelets flat
- Store your jewelry in a clean, dry place
Sizing details
How to choose the right size for bracelets:
Please measure your actual wrist size: wrap a flexible tape measure around your wrist just below your wrist bone where you would normally wear a bracelet, or wrap a piece of string around your wrist, and then measure the length of the string on a ruler.
To determine total bracelet length based on the preferred fit add to actual wrist size:
1/4-1/2" for snug fit
3/4-1" for comfort fit
1 1/4" for loose fit
