Blessing Beyond the Pages
After dedicating our lives to Jesus Christ in late 2023, my wife and I noticed that big changes were needed on the walls of our Missouri home. Discarding the new age decorative remnants of our previous lives, we were left with a lot of wall space, open hearts and a turbulent spiritual battle.
The solution was clear: We needed to surround ourselves with the loving and wise words of the Lord. Using reclaimed pallet wood from the metal factory down the street and natural edge rounds cut from down trees in the nearby forests, I put our laser engraving machine to work, cranking out my favorite verses and hanging them on the walls throughout our home. We were protected and blessed by this decision, growing in our walk with the Lord.
Kicking off 2025 I was laid off from my full-time from-home writing job for an entertainment tech company. Rather than seeking a new job in that industry, I am now taking a leap of faith with Slice of Scripture, striving to launch a home-based business that will share the importance of displaying God's word in the home.
I have always loved creativity and crafting, and I could not pass up this opportunity to do God's work, giving discarded wood new life while creating timeless pieces of scripture art.
