Tudo começou por causa da minha avó. Ela me deu minha primeira boneca, uma boneca Minha Amiga Jenny de Fisher Price, e também fez algumas roupas para ela. Eu brinquei tanto com jenny! Depois de ter filhos, eu queria passá-la para minha filha mais velha, mas também pensei que seria legal fazer uma nova roupa para Jenny, para continuar a tradição da minha avó. O primeiro vestido que costulei completamente à mão! Não ter uma máquina de costura na época, eu fiz trechos dela entre cuidar dos meus filhos e aprendi tanto! Mas despertou um novo interesse em costura quando percebi que podia costurar, e comecei a costurar vestidos históricos para minha boneca Felicity. Foi tão divertido aprender o que sou capaz de fazer, e saber que isso é apenas o começo! Adoro fazer roupas históricas com muitos detalhes, e espero que minhas roupas te encantem também! It all started because of my Grandma. She gave me my first doll, a My Friend Jenny doll from Fisher Price, and also made some clothes for her. I played with Jenny so much! After having children, I desired to pass her on to my oldest daughter but also thought it would be neat to make a new outfit for Jenny, to continue the tradition from my Grandma. That first dress I stitched completely by hand! Not having a sewing machine at the time, I did snatches of it between caring for my kids and learned so much! But it sparked a new interest in sewing as I realized I could sew, and started sewing historical dresses for my Felicity doll. It has been so fun learning what I am capable of doing, and knowing this is just the beginning! I love making historical outfits with lots of details, and I hope that my outfits will delight you too!
