Willkommen im Studio Miek – wo Ideen auch mal ein bisschen aus dem Ruder laufen dürfen.
Was als Farbe, ein alberner Gedanke oder ein „Wäre es nicht lustig, wenn…“ beginnt, kann sich in eine Einladung, eine Illustration, eine komplette Markenidentität – oder, wie es scheint, in ein ganzes fiktives Café verwandeln.
Studio Miek ist mein kreativer Spielplatz. Hier gibt es keine festgelegte Produktstrategie. Ich fertige einfach an, worauf ich gerade Lust habe, und wenn etwas dabei herauskommt, das ich gerne teilen möchte, findet ihr es vielleicht in diesem Shop.
Irgendwann auf diesem Weg fand Studio Miek in Marwick ein Zuhause – einer fiktiven kleinen Hafenstadt mit alten Backsteingebäuden, kreativen Ateliers, gutem Kaffee und einem etwas gemächlicheren Lebensrhythmus.
Mein imaginäres Atelier liegt am Wasser, direkt neben dem Lame Llama Café.
Marwick ist auf keiner Karte verzeichnet.
Aber in meinem Kopf ist es sehr real.

Welcome to Studio Miek — where ideas are allowed to get a little out of hand.
What starts as a colour, a silly thought or a “wouldn’t it be fun if…” can turn into an invitation, an illustration, a complete brand identity — or apparently, an entire fictional coffee shop.
Studio Miek is my creative playground. There’s no strict product strategy here. I simply make whatever I feel like making, and if it turns into something worth sharing, you might find it in this shop.
Somewhere along the way, Studio Miek found a home in Marwick — a fictional little harbour city with old brick buildings, creative studios, good coffee and a slightly slower pace of life.
My imaginary atelier sits by the water, right next door to Lame Llama Café.
Marwick isn’t on any map.
But it’s very real in my head.
