I am Ash from London, Uk and I am the ‘Chief Disrupter ‘ at Trimming Shop UK.
My father was the creative force behind trimming shop, and he founded the shop in West London in 1985. In the beginning, he employed the local workforce to manufacture various types of art & craft accessory and received a great response from the local community.
The better part of my childhood was spent inside the workshop, exploring and learning about various items as I was curious about the tools and techniques that were being used.
Though I was always fascinated by art & craft, the slow down in manufacturing industries in Britain hampered our which made me choose a different career path to support my family.
Unfortunately, it was only after the sad demise of my dad that I realised that trimming shop was not just a business for my father but his humble and passionate way of supporting the inner creativity of people around him by providing them with the right tools they need to bring their imaginations to life.
This was when I decided to dedicate myself to accomplishing my dad’s dream, and with the help of my family, I began my colourful journey on this path.
With the aim to provide a One Stop Craft Supply Shop, I have scoured all over the world to discover large and small craft ideas and items which we now manufacture ourselves to bring these original, affordable, yet innovative supplies to our customers to help them express their creativity.
