My creations are a way for me to express my sense of beauty and order in the world. Handing them on to you to enjoy is the best part of having a shop here on Etsy. The tradition and the personal contact of handmade are a very important part of the experience for me, as I hope it is for you.

As a child I learned to sew and knit from the elder women in my family. They passed their skills on to me, many of them I have used ever since. In my retirement years, knitting and sewing have grown from a hobby to a passion. Using time-tested skills and methods, I have adapted them to create fashionable and trendy sewn bags, knitted bags, and knitted hats for you to carry and wear with style.

Designing and building my bags and hats is a joyful and fulfilling process for me; every one is a new project, from deciding the form and function of it to selecting the materials to the building process. Once the product is completed, I list it in my shop and begin the process again with another hat or bag. I usually have so many ideas for the next one and the next one, that I have trouble deciding which one to make next.

I love my customers, they inspire me to new heights every time they ask me to create a custom hat or bag just for them. You, too, can collaborate with me to build something that you can carry or wear for years to come.

Love these! I ordered two in different colors for a trip to Europe. They were lightweight and packed nice and flat. The glitzed up my simple black dress plus I was able carry my phone, glasses, lipstick and theater tickets. I’m planning to buy some in other colors for the holidays next year.
