Hello my name is Cheryl and I've been making concrete statues for over 10 years. I live in the heart of the Amish Community of Lancaster County Pennsylvania. I do everything from start to finish. I mix and pour the Portland Cement mix into my own latex molds that I also made myself, which gives me the ability to have truly unique (not usually seen) concrete statues. Some are the same as everyone else, but the majority of my items are not. Since they are made of solid concrete they will not loose color or disintegrate outdoors like other cheaper or plastic statues. Then the fun begins when I get to be creative with painting them. I have very high standards when it comes to the quality of my items. I only pour with Portland Cement for the best finish. I use the finest outdoor paints to seal them, so the finish will last a very long time like true quality statues should.
