This Privacy Policy describes how and when we collect, use, and disclose information when you purchase an item from us, contact us, or otherwise use our services through Etsy.com or its related websites and services.

What Information We Collect

In order for us to process your order, you must provide us with certain information (for which you have authorized Etsy to provide it to us). This includes your name, email address, postal address, payment information and information about the product you are ordering. You also have the option to provide us with other personal information (for example, for a custom product) when you contact us directly.

Why we need your information and how we use it

Customer data is important for our business. We disclose your personal information only for specific reasons and under specific circumstances, as follows:

Etsy: We disclose information to Etsy as necessary to fulfill our obligations under Etsy's Seller Policy and Terms of Use.
Service Providers: We hire certain trusted third parties to perform tasks and provide services for our store, such as parcel services. We will share your personally identifiable information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.

Generally, we will retain your information for the following period: 4 years.

Transfer of Personal Data to Countries Outside the EU

We may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the United States and other countries. Therefore, we may transfer your personal information to countries whose privacy and governmental control laws differ from the laws of your country. If we believe we are transferring information about you to countries outside the EU, we will use the EU-US Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Google Cloud is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield.

Objection: You may object to 1. us processing some of your information in our legitimate interests and 2. you receiving marketing communications from us after you have expressly consented to this. In such cases, we will delete your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate reasons for its continued use or it is necessary for legal reasons.
Complaint: If you reside in the EU and wish to raise concerns about our use of your data, without prejudice to any other rights you may have, you have the right to raise these concerns with your local data protection authority.
