Fantastic piece! I love it! ClockworkZero sent along a lovely handwritten letter - such a nice addition.

The necklace was beautiful, and came with a lovely handwritten note explaining the materials it was made from. I love it!

Amazing! The order was late shipping out so she threw in a pair of earrings for free.

Madly Reimaging the Future through the Past

Although I have been with Etsy since 2008, I have taken a hiatus from art and creative endeavours for over a year to take care of my father. Sadly, he passed away in February 2016. His guidance, support and talent continue to inspire me. A portion of my sales will be donated every year to St. Joseph's Hospital in Toronto and to Cancer Research. Last year, while escorting him to various doctors and to chemo, I picked up some clay to "keep my hands busy". This year I will be slowly bringing the new sculpture online.

Being a Jack-of-many-Trades means that I am constantly re-imaging my art. I've always had a fascination with natural history and much of my current sculptures are interpretations of insects, birds and animals. Combine that with a geek's love of robots - and I think you will understand the source of my inspiration.

These sculptural insects will make a fine addition to any Curio Cabinet, or they can watch over you as you work. Although toy-like in appearance these are delicate little creations that should be handled with care.

Feel free to ask any questions.

Hello, and thanks for looking at my policies. I have been making jewelry for many years and try and stand behind my products. I love to use and repurpose old technology - vacuum tubes, lights, computer parts, and watches. The materials are unusual and difficult to find. I'm a geek girl - who did IT Backbone Support for 10 years - and I have published Science Fiction short stories.

Rückgaben und Umtäusche
If you've not received a piece within a reasonable time period let me know! I'll do my best to find out what happened, and we can discuss options.
I ship my work via Canada Post. The majority of it comes with coverage for loss. Claims though need to be made within thirty days.

I usually ship within 3 days of your purchase unless it is the weekend. There isn't local service here for the weekends - so if you order on Friday, it will be Monday before it ships. The rates listed are for regular postage unless stated. From Canada to the US it is usually 7-10 business days.

There is an option for EXPRESS POST but it is an additional charge. Please let me know if you are concerned or would like to purchase Express Postage as it would mean an additional charge.

If you are looking to get something Rushed - ie: special shipping - please send me an email or convo, so that I can address the extra shipping costs with you.
Weitere Richtlinien und FAQs
Most of my work is done on a commission basis. I can be reached here on ETSY or if you like, email me with the subject "Commission Question" somewhere in the subject. You can reach me at my addy:

Should a piece need repair - please contact me. I can often do basic repairs but it can take time due to material constraints. Often OOAK pieces are the hardest to replace or repair but I'll do my best. Let me know of any issues.

About Your Purchase:

Hi! I am willing to ship just about anywhere in the world, but I prefer to check the shipping rates first. Some of the items I ship need special packaging and I'm always willing to find out what is the best price.

Often the materials I use are unique. Some of them are over 100 yrs old. I cannot tell you what some of the metals used might be. Please be careful with some of these items - things like old vacuum tubes are not to be jarred, cracked or tossed about lightly. If you throw one on the ground it might break - and because it is glass - it should be disposed of with caution and care.

One thing I cannot control though is your customs rates. Buyers, please be aware that your local customs might charge duty for some purchases. I cannot tell you what those rates might be, nor guarantee that you will not have to pay duty. I will not refund any duty you might get charged. I've bought things and paid duties on them myself, and figure this is what happens sometimes.

Any problems or questions?
I'm happy to be of be of service to you! I try and be very fair with people and hope for the same.
