C'è molta vita che rimane in così tanti dei beni che scartiamo perché sono troppo usurati, troppo danneggiati, troppo antiquati – o semplicemente troppo familiari.

Estraggo ciò che gli altri si sono lasciati alle spalle: abbandonati sul marciapiede, banditi nel negozio dell'usato, gettati nel cassonetto. Raccolgo gli indumenti gettati via, l'hardware abbandonato, gli articoli per la casa abbandonati, i mobili abbandonati, gli imballaggi scartati e li porto nel mio studio. Lì – dove possono iniziare a conversare tra loro – decostruisco, recupero ciò che è più attraente e combino parti disparate in nuove forme fresche.

"respoke" è:
• gioielli, accessori, abbigliamento, mobili e bellissimi oggetti in edizione limitata creati con ingredienti "su misura"
• design non convenzionali che consentono a materiali con ricche vite passate di "parlare di nuovo" con una nuova voce
• elementi illustri, appena incarnati

There is much life remaining in so many of the goods we discard because they are too worn, too damaged, too old-fashioned – or merely too familiar.

I mine what others have left behind – forsaken at the curb, banished to the thrift shop, tossed into the dumpster. I gather together the cast-away garments, relinquished hardware, deserted household goods, abandoned furniture, discarded packaging and bring them into my studio. There – where they can begin to converse with one another – I deconstruct, salvage what is most appealing and combine disparate parts into fresh new forms.

"respoke" is:
• limited edition jewelry, accessories, clothing, furniture and beautiful objects created from “bespoke” ingredients
• unconventional designs that allow materials with rich past lives to "speak again" with a new voice
• illustrious elements, newly embodied
