LOVE IT!!! I'm very happy indeed with this product. Sharon is very helpful & very responsive with messages, which I appreciate. It was very well packaged and arrived quickly. I will certainly order again and from her other shop, Big Blue Canoe. Thank you:):)

Every cloud can have a silver lining, sometimes looking for it is half the fun!

I decided to open my Etsy store after no longer being able to do my full time job. The money stopped but the bills didn't. So I had to come up with something I could do, and quickly. I looked at my craft supplies and after only spending a small sum of money Ruby Canoe Design was up and running.

I've been selling on Etsy for almost 2 years now and opened a new Etsy shop a few months ago., and is stocked with blueprints, vintage advertising, chalkboards, patents, sci-fi prints.

So this means that I am one of the lucky Etsy sellers, in that I work full time at my shops and I really do love every minute of it. At my previous job I would wonder "why am I doing this?" everyday I would ask myself. I haven't asked that question in two years and I wake up smiling everyday, and it's thanks to great people like you. People who show their support of small businesses. :)

I always try to live by the saying " if you believe you can or if you believe you can't, you will be right" I believed that I could and I was right.

Once payment has been received and your order has started to be processed we can not refund your money. However, if we haven't started your order we can certainly refund your order fully.

No refund will be given for Digital Download listings, once it has been finalized.

Most orders are made to order, therefore we are unable to refund most orders. If, however you have a problem please get in contact with me withing 5 days of delivery to your address.

All return postage costs are paid by the customer, and we do not refund any postage and packaging costs. We can not refund your order if you change your mind. If you are returning an item, it needs to be received in original condition.

When your Ruby Canoe Design item is dispatched we quality check each and every one to ensure a happy customer, however we do make mistakes from time to time, so please let us know if a mistake has been made.
We accept most forms of payment.

If you have any trouble with the ordering system, please do not hesitate contact me.
We post orders 2-4 times a week. We use the Etsy address that is provided when you purchase. Please check that this address is valid.

After payment has been received we will send a convo or message to advise you of the estimated postage date and in that message we attach your delivery address. Please check that this address is valid. It's very easy to forget a few small things when you move.
We will also send you a message a few hours before we post your item just so you can check your address one more time.

If your order is returned to us because of an incorrect address we will contact you to let you know where it is and, unfortunately you will have to pay for postage again as we have done everything we can to prevent this.

We use Australia Post for all shipping. Unfortunately Australia Post express service, for international parcels, is very expensive. However, we can provide quotes for express postage.

Once we have sent your item we can not be responsible if your package does not arrive in time for an event you have planned. We do our best to get your items completed and in the post as soon as possible however many things can affect estimated delivery times. Adverse weather conditions can affect delivery times and industrial disputes can also affect delivery. Naturally we have no control over the weather and the unions and let's face it, if we did we would be unstoppable.

Approx Delivery Times
Deliveries within Australia can take up to 7 days
European Countries can take between 10-18 working days.
Asian Countries up to 14 days for deliveries.
USA/Canada and the United Kingdom please allow 7- 15 working days for delivery.
Christmas orders need to be finalized in the first week or two of November.

Please be aware we are not responsible for any customs charges or taxes or any extra costs. Customs forms are attached to the mailing tube and it also displays the value of your order.

If you haven't received your item within a reasonable time frame please contact us.

****We only use the national carrier of each country (ie. Australia Post, United States Postal Service ect ect). We have recently learned that some deliveries can be delivered to a central shipping company (An address in NY) and then shipped overseas to a third country. This is the only time a package has been lost and for this reason we will not accept orders that are delivered to this address. Please note that we still do accept orders from all countries however a direct address needs to be provided and no third party shipping company is to be involved. We are only enforcing this policy as it protects our good name and that of the business we have worked very hard to build. And most importantly it protects you, our customer. Please only use your national carrier.
