Who is virblatt?

At first we were just selling pants online, but then, as we learned more about alternative materials, and quickly fell in love with hemp; we started designing our own range of clothes that was eco-friendly, stylish and comfortable.
Our vision for sustainable fashion grew and so too did our family. Each of the people we met on our quest to create clothes that care about their environment and that care about their community became part of the virblatt team; a team which is dedicated to making a difference through creating conscious fashion items that you can be proud to wear.

You are not a mass-produced product! So why should you wear mass-produced clothing?

Each of the items in our collection of alternative clothes and hippie fashion, have been carefully tailored by small family businesses around Northern Thailand and Nepal that are as committed as we are to delivering top-quality products for you. Together with our design team, we create one-of-a-kind fashion items which you can wear with confidence and ease. We have learned so much from each of our partners; check out our blog to meet the family who helped us make your clothes.
We believe that the fashion industry has forgotten about the people who wear its products. That mainstream fashion cares more about cash than creativity, and we want to change that, one small step at a time. We work together with local artists and tailors because every item we produce has been made with respect. Many of our clothes we have are decorated with ethnic embroidery and colourful hand-woven patterns of remote hill tribes from around Asia’s ‘Golden Triangle’, giving you clothes, which are not only unique, but also celebrations of the cultural heritage of our business partners.

virblatt - think about it.
