Filled with love this beautiful jewel would be a wonderful addition to any jewellery lovers collection. Created in the Georgian it marks the passing of a cherished loved one, this mourning ring truly captured a moment of love in time.

The front panel is adorned with flat cut almandine garnets as a halo. The quality of cut on these stones mean they reflect and sparkle in the light when worn. The deep pinkish red vibrantly standing out. The entire ring comes to life when worn.

The centre of the ring is a rock crystal front section panel into which a lovingly plated stand of hair has been preserved. Looking closely the hair within has been placed in two separate ways. The first woven into a panel and the second curled. This maybe point to two individuals this ring is in remembrance of.

The entire piece is created in warm rich 9 carat gold. The setting and band have a slight ornamental feel whilst ensuring the panel of the ring is centre attention to the eye.

Condition: Overall in splendid antique condition with only a fine patina. As noted above one of the Garnets is a later replacement though this is lovely and subtle.
