You will get the exact plant in the photo. Well established and actively growing.

This is a must have Hoya for rare plant collectors. Not only is it a very tough plant, it has beautiful unbelievably thick leaves that is worth growing for alone. You do not have to wait for flowers. This plant is beautiful all year round. And when it flowers? What a treat since the booms are quite long lasting and beautiful.

There are a few varieties of Hoya kerrii.

One having just green leaves, one having pubescent (fuzzy) leaves, one splashy, inner Variegated, quilted leaf, and probably more that I am are not aware yet.

Sweetheart or Valentine Hoya is the easiest to get to bloom in the right amount of light and some humidity. You do not need a green house or a terrarium to grow this plant unless you live in the high desert like me. Misting usually do the job here.

They are so very slow growers at first, but ones they got started, they grow fast and flower early.

Blooming around 11 months from cutting.

This plant needs bright light, some humidity and a lot of air movement If you are growing this plant in a grow tent, make sure to create air movement using fan, otherwise, find the brightest window in the house and grow it semi-hydro or mist a few times a day.

Fertilize monthly or bi-weekly if you have time. Make sure to feed half strength fertilizer or even lesser because full strength is too strong and might burn the roots.

Like most variegated Hoyas, it will need lots of bright light and if you can provide humidity,even better. This plant does not need a green house to be happy,specially in naturally humid regions.

This is a very fragile plant with thick succulent leaves that can not be bent.We will only ship this plant by priority mail in a large box to avoid damage and stress.

NOTE:

Hoyas are not cold hardy plants, so if your temperatures fall below 30F,please purchase a heat pack. Our heat packs are not the standard 72 hours. The ones we use here will work for 96 hours. The extended hours might be needed in case the package will sit a little bit outside your gate or your outdoor mail box.
We will not be responsible for frozen plants if you did not purchase a heat pack when your temperatures fall below 30F.
