MATERIALS AND TOOLS

• For the body - Some Sport / 5 ply (12 wpi) yarn (wool, wool mixture, acrylic): 382 yards (350 meters) per 100 g skein. You need approx. 30-40 g
• For the sundress, boots, and sole - Light Fingering / 3 ply: 656 yards (600 meters) per 100 grams (best to use a yarn that has some stretch to it). Amount:
• For the sundress and boots - approx. 20 g
• For sole - approx. 3 g.
• For hair - desired color and texture (cotton, rayon, etc. (do not use wool)) yarn – 30-50 g of Cobweb / 1 ply (1600 m per 100 g).
Yarn optional:
• Leftovers of yellow (or metallic) yarn for the crown
• White thin yarn for underskirt - Cobweb / 1 ply (1600 m per 100 g). approx. 20 g
• Leftovers of pink yarn for a tongue
• Steel Hook 1.75 mm (US steel hook – 6, UK steel hook - 3 1/2).
• Two black beads (6-7 mm) for eyes (you may also use “Position eyes”, half beads or safety eyes.
• Small piece of felt for eyes
• Narrow ribbon for boots lacing – 1 m
• Tapestry needle for tightening
• Stuffing
• Small piece of plastic for boots (plastic lid for example).
