"The Handsome Peacock" Giclée Print

A peahen glances demurely at her peacock as he stands protectively over her, as the scene appears embroidered on a vintage Japanese silk screen. I used a palette of turquoise blue, cream, warm brown and green on a textured canvas background to create my loving pea-couple. Based on my original photograph, this image is part of my Kimono Series. Original photography and digital art by internationally-collected visual artist Susan Maxwell Schmidt. Stretched Canvas:
The archival ink giclée image is printed on premium acid-free poly/cotton blend canvas with a textured matte finish. The canvas is stretched on a wooden frame of 1.5" x 1.5" stretcher bars, and the full print appears on the front of the gallery-style wrap rather than bending around the sides (which are black, white is available upon request). The art will arrive ready to hang, the piece includes a hanging wire for easy mounting as well as mounting hooks and nails.

Unframed Print:
The archival ink giclée image is printed on premium acid-free heavyweight matte paper specifically designed for high contrast and crisp reproduction of fine art. The print has an added white border to allow for future framing, and will be securely shipped rolled in a tube.
