This print is a four-color process, 133 line screen engraving by the Barnes-Crosby Company. Reverse side is an engraved drawing entitled "Happy Hours," a bucolic scene of 3 flappers and their dogs lounging on a porch in the summer, playing music and laughing—see last photo for details.

Taken from the first edition of a marvelous trade publication presenting, at that time in 1927, examples and explanations of state-of-the-art printing and photo engraving called "Achievements in Photo-Engraving and Letter-Press Printing," compiled and edited by Louis Flader of the American Photo-Engravers Association.

Print is in excellent vintage condition - the colors are still strong, and print is free from stains, holes, creases or odors. May have perforations along one margin from binding, but nothing visible when matted.

Print measures approx 11.75" high [30cm] by 8" wide [21cm], with image dimensions of roughly 7.5" x 6.25" [19cm x 15.9cm].

Print will be mailed flat in acid-free archival materials—plastic sleeve with cardboard reinforcement—and weighs 12oz - 1lb+ depending upon packaging and whether you add a mat.
