ABOUT THIS SIGN:

• Each order will look like the example shown in the listing photos.

• Nail holes are added for hanging, but hanging hardware is not included. You can use wire nails or for a more seamless look, request no holes in note to seller at checkout. You simply use velcro command strips to adhere to desired surface.

• Color in the photos shown is raw metal, raw metal gives your sign an industrial look and character. Each raw metal sign will have its own unique markings, patina and may contain scratches, no two metal signs will look alike. Keep in mind raw metal signs will rust when exposed to humidity and moisture developing its own character over time.

• You can paint your sign yourself for a DIY project or we can paint it for an additional charge. All painted signs are sealed front and back providing a long-lasting high-quality rust and fade resistant finish suitable for either indoor or outdoor use.

• Each sign is precision cut from premium 14-gauge hot rolled, recycled steel, 100% made in the USA. 🇺🇸 Our steel is approximately the thickness of a nickel which adds durability to your sign. Top notch quality you can see and feel from the moment you open your package.

• Before placing your order please double check that all personalization choices are correct. All items are handmade, custom to order and go directly into the production process. ◻️RAW METAL◻️

• Raw metal is bare uncoated steel and when exposed to moisture or humidity will rust without a clear coat, even indoors. Raw metal also varies in color from light silver to gray depending on the mill lot.

• Raw metal may show flaws and imperfections that naturally exist in the metal. This may include; scratches, gouges, burns, light spots, etc. This gives each metal piece a unique rustic or industrial look.

• Want to remove some or all unwanted rust on raw metal? Rub your metal piece with a grade 3 steel wool pad.

• Prep for paint or remove fingerprints: Simply clean your metal piece with acetone and a microfiber cloth.

🏠 PAINTED SIGNS:

• Your metal art is fully finished front and back making your item safe to display indoors or outdoors. To ensure your item stays in the best condition please handle with care.

• Our painted signs provide a high-quality long-lasting finish that will last for years. To extend the life of your piece it is highly suggested to handle with care and provide periodic maintenance. It is recommended to reapply your finish every three to five years under normal conditions. However, harsh environments such as near bodies of water or in places with extreme heat and humidity may require more frequent upkeep. We suggest using Rust-Oleum Crystal clear gloss. It’s easy to use in the comfort of your home.

• If your paint chips be sure to immediately touch up the spot with a clear coat sealant to reseal the raw metal underneath to prevent rusting.

💥CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS & EXCHANGES:

• Since all our items are custom, made to order and painted to your specifications we cannot cancel or refund your order due to the time and resources allocated to fulfill that item. Orders are processed as soon as they come in. However, please contact us if you have any problems with your order.

📦 DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ORDERS:

• If the item you ordered arrives defective, damaged or incorrect please reach out through Etsy Messages. Customer satisfaction is very important to us so please allow us the opportunity to make it right before leaving feedback.

📬 SHIPPING AND DAYS OF OPERATION:

• We offer free shipping on all products via USPS priority or UPS ground to all 50 states. We do not currently offer expedited shipping. However, please reach out to us if you need your order quicker and we will try to process your order faster.

• Please double check your shipping address is correct to guarantee the delivery of your order. If you need to make an address change, please let us know as soon as possible to ensure it goes to the correct address. Once an item ships we are unable to change the address or reroute it while in transit.

• If a package does not get delivered due to an incorrect address or is returned to us for any reason, the customer is responsible for the shipping fees to have it redelivered.

• Professional, eco-friendly packaging using recycled cardboard.

• Our shop operates Monday through Friday only, we reserve weekends and Holidays for family time. Our production and shipping timeline is calculated based on full (non-holiday) business days. For example, if you place an order on a Friday afternoon production countdown will begin the following Monday.

🛠️ MOUNTING SUGGESTIONS:

• Handle your metal sign with care while mounting. Your metal sign is a decorative item, and it will scratch or chip if bumped against hard or rough surfaces during the mounting process. Immediately touch up a chipped or scratched sign by applying a clearcoat to reseal and prevent rusting.

• OUTDOOR address signs and metal art with larger holes we suggest a coated flat-head screw size #6 for mounting.

• INDOOR signs and smaller pieces of art we suggest Steel Wire Nails size #16 x 1.

• NO HOLES, we recommend Velcro command strips for a seamless look.

• BRICK, STUCCO & STONE; screws with plastic sleeve are needed and a masonry drill bit. Both can be purchased at any hardware store. The plastic sleeve fits into the hole allowing the brick not to crumble, chip or break.

🌟 As with mounting any item, please be sure that you use enough hardware so that your item is properly secured and supported for its size, weight and the conditions it will be displayed in. It is your responsibility to ensure your metal sign is securely anchored into the desired surface. Pinky Designs is not responsible for improper hanging.

Each piece is cut from 14 gauge metal with our in house CNC plasma. Metal is left raw, which shows a dark gray tone. It gives your sign an industrial look. Each piece has it's own special markings, patina and may contain scratches. No two signs will look alike.

Our metal is the thickness of a nickel.

**Please use caution when handling metal pieces. It is your responsibility to ensure your metal sign is securely anchored into the desired surface. Pinky Designs is not responsible for improper hanging. Please keep out of reach of children, may contain sharp edges.**

Raw metal will rust overtime once exposed to outdoor elements. It will create a beautiful patina. If you like the raw look, but want to prevent rust, you will need to protect it with a clear coat. We use Rust-Oleum stops rust crystal clear enamel spray paint.

Painted Metal: If you chose to have your sign painted, we use Rust-Oleum hammered spray paint in gloss for black, brown, copper, gold, gray, red and silver. This paint instantly hides flaws and imperfections with its textured hammered finish throughout the sign.

For our oil rubbed bronze, we use Rust-Oleum metallic, it has a rich, metallic sheen with a smooth matte finish.

The sign is nice enough but noticed there was one noticeable spot where the clear coat was peeling. I reached out to the seller with no response. Upon closer review, there are few smaller areas where the clear coat is peeling. I came back to the site to see if there was a response and there wasn't. I did go back into the shop and noticed the seller mentions to reiew details and there they mentioned how and what to use to keep rust at bay. I don't mind buying the clear rust-oleum to seal those areas but also don't feel it should be necessary on a newly purchased piece. A simple acknowledgement to a nicely worded message would have been appreciated.
