Rubyrose allows you to create one-of-a-kind, personalized art for your next special occasion. Whether it’s a baby shower, birthday or baptism, we provide you tools to craft a truly distinctive keepsake.
Animals (drawn by us) with “fingerprint balloons” (made by you!) are our specialty. Each rubyrose piece starts with a handmade drawing, carefully detailed in graphite pencil. We then take the original and reproduce on heavy-textured, watercolor paper. You have the option of purchasing the custom original or the high-quality print. Your rubyrose kit includes the drawing, three ink colors, wipes and a display box for your event.
Co-founders Molly and Katie are childhood friends from Charlotte, NC and both currently reside in Richmond, Virginia with their families. Their daughters, Ruby (5) and Emerson Rose (4), were the inspiration behind the name rubyrose. These little helpers have spent a lot of time testing ink colors and helping select the next animal to sketch!
TJ, our artist, is an animal lover and Molly’s husband. He has a way with a pencil and his current compensation for drawing is a day in the woods or on a boat.
