Onze winkel is opgericht omdat ik een alleenstaande ouder ben van een non-verbale, ernstig autistische zoon. Zonder taal voelt zijn wereld het veiligst als hij bij mij thuis is. Ik hoop dat deze winkel mij de mogelijkheid zal bieden om fulltime thuis te blijven om hem het best mogelijke resultaat te geven. Ik en mijn moeder (die samen de winkel runnen) kennen uit de eerste hand de overweldigende uitdagingen waarmee gezinnen worden geconfronteerd met deze diagnose. Het is belangrijk voor ons om items te produceren die het bewustzijn helpen vergroten en een stem geven waar die er soms niet is. We ontwerpen ook graag andere items, zodat kopers voor elke gelegenheid het perfecte cadeau kunnen kiezen.

Our shop was started because I am a single parent to a non verbal severely autistic son. Without language his world feels the most safe when he is at home with me. My hope is that this shop will provide me with the opportunity to stay at home full time to give him the best outcome possible. I and my mom, (who run the shop together), know first hand the overwhelming challenges that families face with this diagnosis. It is important to us to produce items that will help raise awareness and give a voice where there sometimes is not one. We love designing other items as well in order to provide buyers the ability to choose that perfect gift for any occasion.
