Long ago I decided to take a stand against the 'throw-away' mentality of our modern society. As a child, I remember my father taking the time and energy to fix or mend household items that today are advertised and sold as 'disposable'.
Today we are encouraged to just "throw it out"
We clearly cannot continue on this path.

In keeping with this philosophy,nearly 100% of my art comes from found, recycled, used, or salvaged material. I also use renewable or recycled packaging, so don't be surprised if you purchase arrives packed in yesterday's newspaper, complete with the crossword puzzle filled in. I do have some bubble wrap saved from packages that I have received, and may one day use it, but as yet I prefer newsprint.
