Tools that actually calculate
I build spreadsheets for solo service businesses, starting with house cleaning.
The idea came from watching how much unpaid admin gets loaded onto one person running a small cleaning business. You're quoting jobs in someone's kitchen with mental math, keeping door codes in your head, chasing half-payments, and then in April trying to reconstruct a whole year from a bag of receipts and a bank app.
There's plenty for sale that claims to fix that. Most of it is one of two things: a pack of pretty documents you retype numbers into, or a big pile of tabs where nothing connects to anything and half the pages are about employees you don't have.
So I built the other kind. Every number in these workbooks is a live formula. Enter a client once and the whole workbook knows her. The mileage log uses the correct IRS rate for each trip's date. The pricing calculator refuses to quote below your own minimum and tells you what you'd actually earn per hour. The schedule prints a day sheet you can drive with.
How I work
Both formats, both actually checked. Every product ships as a native Excel .xlsx and a Google Sheets version, each opened and clicked through in its own program before it's sold. The single most common complaint in this category is a file sold as working in both that quietly falls apart in one of them. That's why both get checked.
Built for one person. No payroll tabs. No timesheets. No staff scheduling. If you're one person with a car and a client list, every tab is about you.
Honest prices. Flat, no fake sales. When I run a real sale it's because it's a real sale.
Nothing that goes stale. Where the IRS mileage rate lives in the workbook, it's an editable table with a date column — so you update it yourself in ten seconds instead of waiting on me. I'd rather ship something you own outright than something that quietly expires.
I answer messages. Within 24 hours, every time, before or after you've bought. If a formula ever looks wrong to you, tell me and I'll go and look at it myself.
I do this in the evenings around a day job and three kids, which is exactly why I'm careful about what I promise. If something can't be done, I'll tell you so rather than sell you a maybe.
The workbooks are designed and formula-tested by me; AI tools assist with building and checking the spreadsheet files.
