Hello and welcome! I'm Lucia founder and painter at LuArting. I was born and grew up in Italy, where I had the opportunity to explore and experiment with many different artistic techniques, while studying.
In 2006 I moved to the USA and since then I have been working in art and craft both professionally and amateurishly. Some of my works have been published in magazines and books and I have taught classes on line and in person of twist art, scrapbooking and decorative painting.
When I became a mom I realized that, even though I was very busy, I still had time to enjoy acrylic painting, my biggest passion.
For few years I enjoyed decorating my children's bedrooms walls with paintings of cute animals or book characters, but later, when they grew and we started to travel more, I found my new inspiration in nature.
After 13 years of living in Virginia, we decided to live an experience in Brazil, where I found an incredible and beautiful nature. My works are inspired by the relaxing views of North Virginia, but also by the vivid warm colors of Brazil.
Currently I’m having a lot of fun painting miniature canvas and bookmarks for my Etsy shop and murals for commission.

Acrylic paint doesn't need any finishing. In case of dust, simply clean with a dry cloth. A slightly humid cloth is also ok.
