Hallo! Ik ben Jackie, ergotherapeut en oprichtster van OT Play Lab. Wat fijn dat je er bent! Ik woon in Santa Clarita, Californië.
OT Play Lab is ontstaan in Santa Clarita, Californië, vanuit mijn diepe liefde voor kinderontwikkeling, sensorisch spel en de wens om het allerbeste voor mijn eigen dochter te willen. Als ergotherapeut en moeder heb ik zelf ervaren hoe krachtig praktisch en betekenisvol spel kan zijn in het ontwikkelen van zelfvertrouwen, coördinatie en verbondenheid.
Ik heb jarenlang als ergotherapeut gewerkt en baby's met voedingsproblemen ondersteund, kinderen geholpen hun fijne motoriek te ontwikkelen en gezinnen begeleid bij de verschillende ontwikkelingsfasen. Maar toen ik moeder werd, veranderde alles. Therapie was niet langer iets dat alleen in een kliniek plaatsvond, het werd onderdeel van mijn dagelijks leven.
Elk sensorisch speeldeegproduct is zorgvuldig ontworpen met ergotherapeutische principes als basis, die de fijne motoriek, bilaterale coördinatie, sensorische regulatie, verbeeldingskracht en zelfvertrouwen ondersteunen. De speelse thema's trekken kinderen aan. De therapeutische intentie stimuleert hun groei.
Bij OT Play Lab geloven we dat de kindertijd gevuld moet zijn met textuur, kleur, creativiteit en verbondenheid. Onze producten zijn meer dan alleen klei; ze nodigen kinderen uit om vaardigheden te ontwikkelen, hun handjes te versterken en hen te helpen mijlpalen in hun ontwikkeling te bereiken op een manier die plezierig en natuurlijk aanvoelt.
Het is therapie toegankelijk gemaakt. Het is ontwikkeling verweven in alledaagse momenten. Het is een moeder die meer wil voor haar kind en dat ook voor jouw kind creëert. Mijn hoop is dat OT Play Lab gezinnen helpt om betekenisvol, therapeutisch spel in het dagelijks leven te integreren, waardoor zelfverzekerde, bekwame en nieuwsgierige jonge leerlingen worden gestimuleerd.

Hi! I'm Jackie, an occupational therapist and founder of OT Play Lab. I'm so happy you're here! living in Santa Clarita, California.
OT Play Lab was born in Santa Clarita, CA, from my deep love of child development, sensory play, and wanting the very best for my own daughter. As both an OT and a mom, I saw firsthand how powerful hands- on, meaningful play can be in shaping confidence, coordination, and connection.
I've spent years working as an occupational therapist supporting babies with feeding challenges, helping children strengthen fine motor skills, and guiding families through developmental milestones, but when I became a mother, everything shifted. Therapy wasn't just something that happened in a clinic anymore it became part of everyday life.
Each sensory playdough product is thoughtfully designed with occupational therapy principles at its core which supports fine motor development, bilateral coordination, sensory regulation, imagination, and confidence. The playful themes draw children in. The therapeutic intention keeps them growing.
At OT Play lab, we believe childhood should be filled with texture, color, creativity, and connection. Our products are more than playdough they're invitations to build skills, strengthen little hands, and help children reach developmental milestones in a way that feels joyful and natural.
It's therapy made accessible. It's development woven into everyday moments. Its a mom wanting more for her child and creating it for yours too. My hope is that OT Play Lab helps families bring meaningful, therapeutic play into everyday life that nurtures confident, capable and curious little learners.
