ART PRINTS
Since 2011, all of our art prints are made with standard-setting Mohawk Superfine paper which is sustainably milled in Cohoes, New York. Mohawk sources pulp from sustainable forests, uses recycled fiber, conserves water, and harnesses wind power for their electrical energy. The result is a lush, elegant, fine art paper that’s unmatched in its beauty and sustainability.

TOTES
All of our tote bags are hand screened and hand sewn in Brooklyn, NY. Our print partner uses environmentally friendly, water-based inks which are PVC- and phthalate-free. Water-based inks are softer to the touch and blend beautifully with the premium, 100% natural cotton canvas.

NOTEBOOKS
Our pocket notebooks are printed and constructed in Portland, Oregon using vegetable-based inks and 100% recycled paper (a portion of which is from recycled books). Our partner plants a tree for every order in partnership with The National Forest Foundation.

BOOKS & PAPER GOODS
All of our books, paper goods and collateral cards are printed in Van Nuys, CA on uncoated, FSC certified, sustainable paper made with 10% recycled content. Our print partner uses soy and vegetable-based inks which have lower levels of volatile organic compounds than petroleum inks.


WOMEN WRITERS BOXED SET
Our She boxed set is the only product that is not made in the USA. The boxed set is printed by our Japanese partner using FSC certified paper. Our trusted printer undertakes sustainability activities in accordance with the principles of the United Nations Global Compact and the guidelines of the ISO 26000 Guidance on Social Responsibility, a globally recognized standard for organizations.

    Our notebooks are made from recycled books! Our partner prints all of their books on 100% recycled paper sourced from paper mills in the Pacific Northwest and Midwest. They use vegetable-based inks mixed locally. We design,package and ship the books.
