How do I download my sewing pattern after purchase?
Once your payment is confirmed, your PDF sewing pattern is available immediately as an instant digital download. Simply go to your Etsy account → Purchases and Reviews → click the Download button next to your order. All files are delivered in PDF format and include A4, US Letter, and A0 (print shop) sizes so you can print at home or at your local print shop. No physical item will be shipped. If you have any trouble accessing your files, feel free to message us and we'll send them to you directly!
What sizes are included in your sewing patterns?
Our patterns include a wide range of sizes to suit everyone! Women's patterns typically cover US sizes XS–4XL (US 0–22). Kids' patterns cover ages 2–16 years. Men's patterns cover sizes S–4XL. Each listing clearly states the sizes included in the title and description — please check before purchasing. If you need a custom size outside our range, message us and we'll do our best to help!
Are your patterns beginner-friendly? What skill level do I need?
Yes! Most of our patterns are designed to be beginner-friendly with clear, step-by-step instructions and illustrated diagrams included. Each listing mentions the skill level (Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced) in the description. Whether you're picking up a sewing machine for the first time or you're an experienced sewist looking for a new project, we have patterns for you. Our instructions are written in English and include seam allowance details, fabric recommendations, and printing instructions.
How do I print the pattern correctly at home?
Open the PDF and print at 100% scale (also called "Actual Size" — do NOT select "Fit to Page"). Each pattern includes a test square — print page 1 first and measure it to confirm your scale is correct before printing all pages. If your pattern includes an A0 file, take it to a local print shop and ask for A0 size printing — this gives you a single large sheet with no taping needed. After home printing, cut out the pages and tape them together following the numbered assembly guide included in the PDF. If you have any printing issues, message us — we're happy to help!
Can I sell items I make using your sewing patterns?
Yes! You are welcome to use our PDF sewing patterns to make and sell finished handmade garments at craft fairs, markets, or online shops. We only ask that you credit PatternCrafters as the pattern designer when possible. However, please note that the PDF pattern files themselves may not be resold, redistributed, shared, or modified in any form. Each purchase is licensed for personal use by one buyer only.
