Hej, vi heter Casey och Kelsey – teamet bakom Spirit Lab. Vi driver vår verksamhet från vår hemmaverkstad i Philadelphia, där vår lokal vanligtvis även fungerar som ett prototyplabb för alla nya idéer vi funderar på.
Spirit Lab föddes ur vår tid i festival- och Burner-communities. Vi ville ha ett sätt att sammanfoga våra två väldigt olika färdigheter till något konkret, och överbrygga klyftan mellan det mycket tekniska och det djupt avsiktliga.
Jag (Casey) är digital tillverkare, DJ och mekaniker. Jag hanterar tekniken och tillverkningssidan och spenderar min tid med att styra våra 3D-skrivare, konstruera hållbara flow-props och köra vår CO2-laser för att skära invecklade smycken och medaljonger. Kelsey är konstnär, ljudläkare och yogainstruktör. Hon tar med sig själen och den estetiska visionen till labbet. Oavsett om vi designar en ny medaljong eller en uppsättning flow-fläktar, ser hon till att det vi skapar inte bara är tekniskt sunt, utan faktiskt känns bra att bära, hålla i och interagera med.
Vi valde namnet "Spirit Lab" eftersom det beskriver exakt hur vi arbetar. Det är ett ständigt experiment. Vi testar alltid nya material – som att hitta exakt rätt flexibilitet för en hula hoop eller den perfekta finishen för ett laserskuret hänge – och frågar oss själva hur fysiska föremål kan hjälpa människor att röra sig, leka och knyta an djupare kontakt.
Allt du ser i vår butik, från våra signaturmedaljonger till vår LED-flödesutrustning, är designad, prototypad och monterad av oss två. Vi bygger utrustning och bärbar konst som vi faktiskt vill använda själva, oavsett om det är ute på dansgolvet eller i ett helande utrymme. Därför bryr vi oss mycket om hållbarhet och att få de små detaljerna rätt innan något någonsin skickas ut.

Hey there, we’re Casey and Kelsey—the team behind Spirit Lab. We run our business out of our home workshop in Philadelphia, where our space usually doubles as a prototyping lab for whatever new idea we're currently obsessing over.
Spirit Lab was born out of our time spent in the festival and Burner communities. We wanted a way to merge our two very different skill sets into something tangible, bridging the gap between the highly technical and the deeply intentional.
I (Casey) am a digital fabricator, DJ, and tinkerer. I handle the tech and manufacturing side of things, spending my time dialing in our 3D printers, engineering durable flow props, and running our CO2 laser to cut intricate jewelry and medallions. Kelsey is an artist, sound healer, and yoga instructor. She brings the soul and the aesthetic vision to the lab. Whether we're designing a new medallion or a set of flow fans, she makes sure that what we create isn't just technically sound, but actually feels good to wear, hold, and interact with.
We chose the name "Spirit Lab" because it describes exactly how we work. It’s a constant experiment. We are always testing new materials—like finding the exact right flex for a hula hoop or the perfect finish for a laser-cut pendant—and asking ourselves how physical objects can help people move, play, and connect more deeply.
Everything you see in our shop, from our signature medallions to our LED flow gear, is designed, prototyped, and assembled by the two of us. We build gear and wearable art that we actually want to use ourselves, whether that's out on the dance floor or in a healing space. Because of that, we care a whole lot about durability and getting the tiny details right before anything ever ships out.
