Right after checkout, go to You → Purchases and reviews on Etsy (on the website or in the Etsy app) and click "Download files". There's also a download link in your Etsy order email. The files are PDFs, so they open in any free PDF reader, like Adobe Acrobat Reader or your phone or computer's built-in viewer. Tip: downloading on a computer is easiest. Phones sometimes hide where the file was saved.

Most products include two PDFs, US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) and A4, so they print right in the US and internationally. A few of our earliest printables are US Letter only and print well on A4 with "Fit to page". Each listing says exactly what's included.

Print at "Actual size" or "100%" (or "Fit to page" for A4 on a Letter-only file). Plain printer paper works great. Use 65–110 lb cardstock for cards, labels, games and coupons. Everything is designed to print well in color or black & white. You can print at home or at an office-supply print shop. Colors may look slightly different from your screen.

Both. Every plan lists imperial (inches, feet and fractions) and metric (millimeters) side by side, and it uses real lumber sizes (a 2x4 is 1-1/2" × 3-1/2").

Each plan is built as a full 3D model. The cut list is generated from that model in code and then re-checked by a second, independent calculation. Every plan includes a verification report. If you ever find a mistake, tell us. We'll fix it and send you the updated plan free.

Each listing shows the skill level, build time, tools list and an estimated material cost (2026 US prices, so check your local store).

No. Everything is a digital download, and nothing is shipped.

Furniture you build from our woodworking plans: yes! Please don't resell, share or redistribute the plans or printables themselves, digitally or printed. Printables are for one household, or one teacher in one classroom.

Yes. One teacher can print copies for their own classroom. For a whole school or organization, message us.

Message us through Etsy (the "Message" button on our shop page or your order). Tell us the product and what's happening, and we'll fix it or send a replacement, usually within 1 business day. Etsy messages are the fastest way to reach us, and we answer every message.
