That was it! As summer began and I had a couple months to myself, my husband suggested starting an Etsy shop to sell diaper cakes. What did I have to lose? I made a couple cakes and then as I began thinking and seeing other shops on Etsy...I started creating digital invitations and announcements. I always make my own birthday invites, Christmas cards and the such, so I branched out a little and started putting my designs on Etsy. It's not about the money for me, but the ability to create and make connections with people from all over the U.S. It has been a privilege to be able to do this as a hobby. I like to be able to give people a more cost effective way of having a unique and personalized invite or announcement. I still sell diaper cakes so check those out too!
