I accept returns & exchanges on standard veils. Veils come with the bride's own choice of comb, but are still considered standard orders.

Only the following items are non-returnable:
~ CUSTOM ORDERS
~ VEILS BOUGHT WITH "ADD A BLUSHER"
~ PURE FRENCH SILK TULLE VEILS
~ LACE EDGED VEILS (due to their intricate nature and the time they take to hand-sew for each bride)
~ SALE ITEMS
~ FABRIC SAMPLES

For returnable veils, when I receive your veil in perfect condition in its original packaging, I will refund you the purchase price (excluding 'Rush Order' fee), or make you a replacement.
You must tell me of your return within 3 days of receipt of the parcel, and return it within 7 days of receipt.

No returns are accepted after your wedding date.

The buyer is responsible for shipping costs to return the parcel, as well as any taxes, customs duties & fees incurred by receiving the return back into the UK (usually £15 - £60 depending on the veil price; proof of the customs charges I had to pay to receive your return will be sent to you via Etsy messages, ahead of your refund being issued).
No refund will be given for an item that's returned damaged or not in its original condition.
It is your responsibility to make sure the ADDRESS on your order is correct and up to date. I am not responsible for undelivered packages where you have given an incorrect or old address. No refund would be issued in the case of a parcel being delivered to an incorrect address given by the buyer.

All orders are shipped with the real value declared on the customs form. The importing country may charge the buyer customs duties and taxes, which must be paid by the buyer and are not the seller's responsibility.
In the event that the buyer refuses to pay the customs duties, the importing country will destroy the shipment and no refund will be given.

The buyer must send the return via a trackable method with the seller's signature required on delivery.
I do not accept liability for returns that are lost in transit during shipping, or that are damaged by the carrier in the process of being returned.
International duties and taxes paid by the buyer are not refunded.
Any customs charges incurred to receive the return back into the UK will be deducted from your refund amount (proof of these costs will be sent to you via Etsy messages). Your refund will be issued by your original form of payment within 3 days of return receipt.

All veils are sent via a signed for and/or trackable shipping method, depending on your location. Please contact me for more information about your specific location.
Express shipping is available at extra cost, and I have a Rush Order service for brides who wish to fast track their order to the front of production.
Fabric samples are sent via a standard untracked service.

Every veil is made to order especially for each bride, on a first ordered, first made and posted basis. If you need your veil quickly, please purchase the 'Rush My Order' listing to have your veil moved to the front of my order queue.  It will be made within 4 working days and then posted the following day by Royal Mail Special Delivery (Next Working Day by 1pm) if you're in the UK, an Express courier taking 2 - 3 days if you're in Europe / the United States / Canada / the UAE, or an Express courier taking 3 - 5 days if you're in Australia / New Zealand / Hong Kong / Singapore.

It's important to ensure a perfect match with your wedding dress, so I encourage brides to order samples! There is a small charge for each sample depending on your chosen fabric, and they are usually posted out within 1 - 2 working days. This small charge for samples covers the time it takes me to put each sample envelope together, and to cover the cost of materials and envelopes. Please go to the 'Fabric samples / swatches' section of the shop to order your samples, and do ask if you need any help.

There's no exact agreement about how long specific veil lengths are, so you'll find they do vary a little between veil sellers! If you can't choose between one of my standard lengths, the best option is to take a measurement while wearing your dress (get a friend to help!) and hold the tape from where you'd like your veil to begin, let it fall naturally downwards and measure to where you'd like your veil to end. You can give me this measurement and I can make your veil a custom length for you (priced according to the standard lengths in my shop).

As every veil is made to order especially for each bride, and because I run Blossom and Bluebird on my own, I'm afraid that I'm not able to accept orders that are for more than one veil, where one (or more) will definitely be returned. If my business was large and I had stock of all of my veils on hand for immediate shipping it would be no problem for me to accept such orders, but that's not the case at the present time. I'm sorry about this, and hope you understand my position! I will always offer as much advice and guidance as I can to ensure you choose the right veil.

If you've ordered a veil direct from my shop without requesting a Custom Order, then yours is a standard veil (meaning it can be returned or exchanged). The only non-returnable items are:
~ Custom orders
~ Veils bought with the "Add a Blusher" listing
~ Pure silk tulle veils
~ Lace edged veils
~ Sale items
~ Fabric samples

All my veils are personalised with the bride's own choice of comb, and despite the personalisation these are still considered standard orders, so they can be returned or exchanged.
