El comienzo
The Beginning
Como estudiante universitaria con dificultades económicas, me frustraba no solo el precio desorbitado de los productos online, sino también su pésima calidad. Me cansé de ver los mismos diseños en Shein, Temu y Amazon, con precios desorbitados para artículos fabricados con mano de obra poco ética. Si encontraba algún artículo decente con un origen ético, no me gustaba el diseño ni los colores, o era demasiado caro. Algunas cosas no eran de mi estilo, otras no me parecían lo suficientemente divertidas. Así que decidí tomar cartas en el asunto y diseñar mis propios productos, manteniendo los precios lo más bajos posible. Colaboré con artistas de Pinterest para que me ayudaran a crear mi marca y mis artículos. Empecé con plantillas útiles (¡y si hay interés, puedo crear más!) y luego pasé a hacer pegatinas monísimas antes de expandirme a otros artículos de estilo de vida. Todos los artículos que se muestran han sido creados, modificados o redibujados por mí en Canva, inspirándome en el arte de Pinterest. El plagio (mediante IA) o el plagio artístico son inaceptables en A Cozy Curation, así que si tienes alguna duda, envíame un correo electrónico. As a struggling college student, I became frustrated not only with the obscene cost of products online, but also with the poor quality of them. I got tired of seeing the same designs on Shein, Temu, and Amazon, with prices jacked up for items created by unethical labor. If I could find a decent item with an ethical background, I didn't like the design or colors, or it was too expensive. Some things weren't my style, others weren't fun enough. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and design my own products and keep the prices as low as I could. I worked with art/artists on Pinterest to help me curate my brand and items. It began with helpful templates (which, if there is a desire for them, I can create more for you guys!) and then moved on to cute little stickers before branching out to other lifestyle items. All items shown have been created, altered, or redrawn by me on Canva with Pinterest art as my inspiration.
