Dia Dhuit! (Hallo)

Dia Dhuit! (Hello)
We at Anam are passionate about Linen. Linen is woven from the flax flower and is one of the oldest textiles in the world
The Irish loved linen so much that one of the earliest demands of early Irish society was that linen production must be learnt by all. The Brehon Laws, Ireland’s ancient legal code, made it compulsory for farmers to learn and practice the cultivation of flax.
To this day Linen is an obvious choice for modern day consumers looking for a sustainable natural alternative to synthetic materials. Irish Linen is a wonderful choice for headscarfs as it is breathable, non slip, durable and softens with every wash.
With our long history of linen weaving excellence in Ireland we strive at Anam to bring premium linen headscarfs to the Muslim women of Ireland. We hope it is a piece you can cherish forever.
