Siempre he sido un soñador, de esos que desaparecen en películas, juegos y libros, persiguiendo mundos llenos de magia y significado.
Después de tener a mis hijos, mi vida cambió de repente. Dejé mi trabajo como redactora web para cuidar de mi hijo, que necesitaba un poco de apoyo extra. Fue un cambio enorme, y en medio de todo ese cambio, me encontré buscando algo que fuera solo para mí: algo creativo, tranquilo y lleno de posibilidades.
Un fin de semana, le pedí prestado el iPad a mi hermana y abrí una app llamada Procreate. Ese momento lo cambió todo. Empecé a dibujar, lentamente al principio, y luego a diario, redescubriendo la alegría a través del color, la línea y la imaginación. Siete años después, esa chispa se ha convertido en una profunda pasión por la ilustración y la narrativa.
Ahora, por fin he podido invertir en mi propia impresora y equipo, lo que me permite crear y producir mis propios artículos de papel de principio a fin. Ha sido un largo camino de aprendizaje, experimentación y sueños, pero estoy muy emocionada por ver adónde me lleva este viaje.
🌿 Ashfern Studio nació de esa pasión: un pequeño espacio creativo donde la fantasía, la naturaleza y la fantasía se fusionan. Cada pieza que creo se inspira en la magia serena del mundo que nos rodea: el susurro de las hojas, una historia querida, un destello de luz en la oscuridad. Espero que cada tarjeta, lámina o marcapáginas aporte un toque de magia a tu día a día y te recuerde que también debes seguir soñando.

After I had my children, life changed suddenly. I left my job as a web writer to care for my son, who needed a little extra support. It was a huge shift, and in the middle of all that change, I found myself searching for something that was just for me — something creative, quiet, and full of possibility.
One weekend, I borrowed my sister’s iPad and opened an app called Procreate. That moment changed everything. I began drawing, slowly at first, and then every day — rediscovering joy through colour, line, and imagination. Seven years later, that spark has grown into a deep love of illustration and storytelling.
Now, I’ve finally been able to invest in my own printer and equipment, allowing me to create and produce my own paper goods from start to finish. It’s been a long road of learning, experimenting, and dreaming — but I’m so excited to see where this journey leads next.
🌿 Ashfern Studio was born from that passion: a small creative space where whimsy, nature, and fantasy come together. Each piece I make is inspired by the quiet magic of the world around us — the rustle of leaves, a well-loved story, a spark of light in the dark. My hope is that every card, print, or bookmark brings a little wonder to your everyday life, and reminds you to keep dreaming too.
