Patterns born from a life well traveled
Hi there, I’m Jamie—the owner, designer, and creative heart behind Bayona Pattern House.
Surface design is something I’ve loved my entire life, long before I had a name for it. I’ve always been the person with far too many screenshots of striking color palettes and patterns—drawn to the little details that make everyday things so beautiful.
After spending several years living in Portugal with my husband and two boys, I finally had the space to pursue this creative path. With endless inspiration just outside my door (hello, tiles!), Bayona Pattern House was born.
Travel continues to shape my work, from romantic florals and climbing vines inspired by historic châteaus to bold, bohemian designs influenced by time spent in Morocco. Now that I’m settled in Rhode Island, a coastal influence has naturally begun to weave its way in—bringing a relaxed balance to the collection.
I especially love creating designs for fellow creators, and I’m proud to offer my work at accessible price points for personal projects and small businesses alike. Connecting with makers and seeing how these designs come to life is incredibly meaningful to me.
