BioGeoEditions

BioGeo Editions is run by BioGeo Pty Ltd (ACN 702 066 859), Queensland, Australia. This policy explains what personal information we use when you buy from this shop, and why.

Information we use
When you place an order, Etsy passes us your name, delivery address, email address and order details. We see any message you send us through Etsy. We do not receive your card or payment details; Etsy handles payment.

Why we use it
We use your information to make and deliver your order, to answer your messages, and to meet our legal and tax obligations. The legal bases are performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interest in running the shop, and compliance with the law.

Who we share it with
Your prints are made and posted by our production partner, Gelato. We send Gelato your name, delivery address and order details so it can print and deliver your order, and Gelato passes the delivery details to its couriers. We may also share information with our accountant and with authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing.

International transfers
We are based in Australia, and Gelato may print your order in another country close to you. Where your information leaves the UK or the European Economic Area, we rely on the safeguards those partners provide.

How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as Australian tax law requires, currently five years, then delete them.

Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, object to how we use it, or ask us to limit its use. If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
