Polymer Clay TV entstand aus einer Partnerschaft zweier kreativer Frauen, Ilysa Ginsburg und Kira McCoy. Ilysa und Kira arbeiteten seit 2006 zusammen, nachdem sie sich online kennengelernt und die Polymer Clay Artists Guild of Etsy (PCAGOE) gegründet hatten, eine Gilde, die aus einem Etsy-Street-Team hervorgegangen war.
Etsy hat vor langer Zeit auf dem inzwischen eingestellten Blog einen Artikel über unsere Zusammenarbeit geschrieben, mit dem Titel „Lebensverändernde Teamarbeit: Die Kraft von Podcasts“.
Als Ilysa die Idee zu einem Videocast und Podcast hatte, dachte sie, Kira wäre die perfekte Person, um ihr dabei zu helfen. Daraus entstand Polymer Clay TV, und es folgten viele weitere Projekte, darunter:

Obwohl Polymerclay eine meiner Leidenschaften ist, bin ich eigentlich Kunstlehrerin und liebe es, mit verschiedensten Materialien zu arbeiten und Neues zu entdecken. Ilysa ist seit 2022 im Ruhestand.

Polymer Clay TV came out of a partnership of two crafty women, Ilysa Ginsburg & Kira McCoy. Ilysa & Kira worked together starting in 2006 when they met online and formed the Polymer Clay Artists Guild of Etsy (PCAGOE), which is a guild that formed out of an etsy street team.
Etsy wrote an article about our collaboration long ago on the now defunct blog, called Life Changing Teamwork: the power of podcasts.
When Ilysa had this idea to do a videocast & podcast she thought Kira would be the perfect person to help bring it to fruition. Polymer Clay TV was born from this, and led to many other ventures including:

Although polymer clay is a passion of mine, I am an art teacher originally and I love to create with all kinds of mediums and explore new materials. Ilysa retired in 2022.
