Wer diese Filme oft genug gesehen hat, kennt den Schnee. Er fällt in einem perfekten Kegel unter einer Straßenlaterne. Er landet auf den Schultern einer Figur und schmilzt einfach nicht. Manchmal rieselt er seitwärts herunter, während ein Typ mit offenem Mantel ganz entspannt dasteht. Wir lieben es. Wir haben uns noch nie gewünscht, dass er so überzeugend aussieht.
Das ist der Geist dieses Ladens.
Wir sind Megan und Wendy. Seit Jahren moderieren wir gemeinsam einen wöchentlichen Film-Podcast, was bedeutet, dass wir unzählige Kleinstadtromanzen gesehen haben und zu jeder einzelnen eine Meinung haben. Eine von uns liebt dieses Genre schon ihr ganzes Leben lang. Die andere kam als absolute Skeptikerin dazu und hat sich komplett bekehrt. Unsere Hörer fragten uns immer wieder, wo man die Dinge kaufen kann, über die wir gescherzt hatten, also fingen wir an, sie selbst herzustellen.
Wir verkaufen hauptsächlich Bekleidung. Sweatshirts und T-Shirts mit Motiven fiktiver Städte, erfundenen lokalen Institutionen und Details, die nur dann Sinn ergeben, wenn man den Film schon dreimal gesehen hat. Alle Artikel werden auf Bestellung bedruckt.
Wir erstellen auch Druckvorlagen für die Filmsaison, darunter einen Zeitplan mit Ankreuzfeldern, der ursprünglich als etwas gedacht war, das wir an unsere eigenen Kühlschränke klebten und dann an ein paar tausend Hörer verschenkten.

If you've watched enough of these movies, you know the snow. It falls in a perfect cone under one streetlight. It lands on a character's shoulders and never melts. Sometimes it's coming down sideways while a guy stands there in an unbuttoned coat looking comfortable. We love it. We have never once wanted it to look more convincing.
That's the spirit of this shop.
We're Megan and Wendy. We've hosted a weekly movie podcast together for years, which means we've watched an unreasonable number of small-town romances and have opinions about every single one. One of us has loved this genre her whole life. The other showed up a full skeptic and converted completely. Our listeners started asking where they could buy the things we were joking about, so we started making them.
Most of what we sell is apparel. Sweatshirts and tees built around fictional towns, invented local institutions, and the kind of detail that only means something if you've seen the movie three times. Everything is printed to order.
We also make printables for movie season, including a schedule with checkboxes that began as something we taped to our own refrigerators and then gave away to a few thousand listeners.
