¡Por fin ha llegado el momento!
The time has finally come!
He estado pintando de vez en cuando durante muchos años. Comenzó haciendo pintura acrílica sobre cerámica. Pronto se transformó en esmaltes y mis propios diseños florales. Hizo shows durante años y tuvo una pelota. Pero todo el tiempo tuve una carrera, como con la vida, esa carrera pronto se apoderó de todo mi tiempo y energía emocional y creativa. Disfruté mucho de mi carrera y tuve la bendición de trabajar con gente creativa increíble.
Ha llegado el momento de poder centrarme en mi obra de arte. Hago trabajos de fuego bajo. Algunas de las piezas se vierten, otras están construidas a mano, pero todas están pintadas a mano y disparadas al menos una vez por mí.
Hasta ahora he vendido a través de espectáculos. 2020 iba a ser mi primer año haciendo espectáculos al aire libre de verano, todos sabemos cómo resultó, yikes. La tienda de Etsy es una forma de hacer llegar mi trabajo a otros que lo disfrutarían.
Me encantan las telas vintage, inspiran algunos de mis diseños. Las flores, las enredaderas naturales, las bayas y las hojas son el centro del escenario en mi pintura. Disfruto de la variedad, por lo que mis diseños siempre están cambiando.
Mi esposo y yo somos buceadores, así que espero en algún momento en el futuro cercano entrar en los diseños bajo el agua también.

Have been painting on and off for many years. Started off doing acrylic painting on ceramic. Soon morphed into underglazes and my own floral designs. Did shows for years and had a ball. But the whole time I had a career, as with life that career soon took over all of my time and emotional and creative energy. I enjoyed my career a lot and was very blessed to work with amazing creative folks.
The time has come to be able to focus on my artwork. I do low fire work. Some of the pieces are poured others are hand built but all are hand painted and fired at least once by me.
Until now I have sold through shows. 2020 was to be my first year doing summer outdoor shows, we all know how that turned out, yikes. The Etsy store is a way for me to get my work to others who would enjoy it.
I love vintage fabrics, they inspire some of my designs. Florals, natural vines, berries, and leaves are center stage in my painting. I do enjoy variety, so my designs are always changing.
My husband and I are divers so I’m hoping sometime in the near future to get into under the water designs as well.
