My name is Gustavo, owner, and maker of LaBombilla. I make knit fabric and fleece infinity scarves and bags for urban men.
This brand was born four years ago, as identification of everything I did among needles, threads, and sewing machines. There was not any commercial claim. LaBombilla (“The light bulb”) included all the sewing projects that I made. When LaBombilla turned on, it meant that I had a new idea ... of sewing.
Recently LaBombilla went from being a hobby to being a professional and commercial brand. It is a brand that thinks in colors and that is aimed at urban men who like to wear accessories with a touch of color, informal and sometimes fun.
I love to think and find new ideas, for new clothing garments and accessories, always inspired by cities and urban life.
The textile industry and fabric suppliers eliminate from their catalogs meters and meters of tissues every season. LaBombilla tries to recover these fabrics so as not to encourage the mass production of fabrics and thus enter the first phase of the circular economy. For this reason, models I make are limited editions, until the fabric is finished.
