In this globalized world where there is more and more impersonalization, we want you to know that you talk to the artisan and designer of your pieces.

The "La Forja de Prometeo" project is started by David Quesada Heredia with another partner and friend ,Eduardo Velayos, in 2012
The idea was to work making armors and props in a wide range of styles or historical periods.
We wanted to be a reference in terms of quality of the materials we work with, as well as the quality of the work by hand, taking advantage of the long experience that both friends had in their trajectories separately.

The project is continued by David Quesada alone and dedicated only to the leather work since 2017.

Isabel Guirao joins "La Forja" in 2018. "Isa" is a plastic artist specialized in sculpture and painting.

Both share their passion for the workshop and we follow the philosophy initiated a few years ago by David and Eduardo.

Hello, we are Isabel and David. We design all the products you see, we are the artisans in the workshop, as well as the photographers. We also are the ones who run the media, and with whom you speak when you write us a message.

We want to show you the "strengths points" of our working way:

CLAIMS

For "La Forja de Prometeo" it is important that the purchases of our clients are totally satisfactory. In case you as a customer have something to claim, we encourage you to contact us. We guarantee that we are at your disposal to solve any incident in a short and effective way.

Here is our complaint policy:

*) All the products we make are handmade 100% so there may be slight changes in color depending on the photo of the advertisement. Please, customer, if you have any questions, send us a message.

*) All the products that we make depend on some trimmings (buckles, buttonholes, ornaments) bought for the character in question, in case of not having the trimmings that appear in the photos of the product, we reserve the right to change them for ones of similar appearance, of equal or superior quality, and that do not alter the final appearance of the product.

*) Our way of working is the realization of the articles and the purchase of the material of them as soon as the order is made, so that the materials and working hours are exclusively for each buyer.


RETURNS

For the reasons mentioned above is why we accept returns only in the case that the buyer has received a different order than the one he bought, not a change in hue, or a slightly different ring or buckle, for example.
** This item is very important to consider by the buyer, please make sure you want the product before buying it.

In case of having to return the product because you have received a product that you did not buy, in "La Forja de Prometeo" we take charge of the costs of the return.
Returns will be made via PayPal once the item has arrived in perfect condition.

In case you have not received the product that you bought and you had to make a return of the product:
  *) There will be no claim if the item has been used or handled incorrectly by the Buyer.
  *) All products may be returned provided the item is returned complete, in perfect condition and sent by certified mail.

CANCELLATIONS

As a general rule, we do NOT accept cancellations of the purchase after 5 days from making the order of the product purchased since after this time we had to buy the material for the realization of it. In any case, if you want to cancel an order after these 5 days and always before sending the product, you can contact us and we will refund the resulting part of subtracting the material from the total amount.

Shipping
DELIVERY TERM

*) Our pieces are made by hand, the completion time is approximately 2 to 3 weeks from the reception of the order. The times are specified in each article.

*) The standard shipping can take 1 week for Spain, between 10 days to 2 weeks for Europe and between 2 and 3 weeks for USA (Please keep this in mind when placing your order).

*) The delivery times will be counted from the reception of the order.

*) Once the product is ready to be shipped we will provide the buyer with a TRACKING NUMBER so that you can know the status of the shipment to his place of destination.
We advise verifying the shipping address before buying any product.

*) The shipping times are estimated, there may be delays due to customs or holidays. I am not responsible for delays in deliveries. I will not make a return of an item that is still on the way.

*) In "La Forja de Prometeo" we will be attentive to any event that may arise from the transport company so that the purchased product reaches its destination in a satisfactory manner.

Sizing details

Our products fit in several sizes (M to XL). The information of each size is specified in each product.

Please, contact me if you would like a different size of any of our products. If you are not sure about your size, contact me and I will gladly help you.

Care instructions

For a better maintenance of your leather piece we recommend:

1-Apply Horse Fat or moisturizer and rub until the
piece absorbs it partially.
(There are also other products on the market that can help you).

Perform this operation every 2 or 3 months or sooner depending on its use.

2-If the piece gets wet in its entirety, let it dry in a closed and dry place
(not the sun)

In case it gets wet partially, moisten completely to avoid marks
produced by water and let it dry in a closed and dry place.

After this process apply the hydration of point 1.

** Very important is not to apply heat such as a dryer or leave in the sun. This causes the hardening of the leather.
