No me gusta el uso limitado de las bolsas de magnesio tradicionales. Diseñé Griplock™ porque odio que se me resbalen los discos de las manos. My name is Max Lundt, and I am the founder of Max Labs LLC and the inventor of
Griplock'™. I have been playing disc golf since 2013, and after graduating from college in 2024, I spent 7 months designing and prototyping over 340 different designs until I was satisfied with what I created.
Griplock™ is a water-resistant and refillable chalk bag designed for disc golfers who
dislike the limited use of traditional chalk bags. I designed Griplock™ because I hate having my discs slip out of my hands. I have tested every water-absorbing solution available, from rosin bags to liquid chalk, but the best I've found is magnesium carbonate climbing chalk. It absorbs loads of sweat and does not dissolve or break down.
My next challenge was with the delivery system. I found that my chalk bags would often get thrown to the bottom of a wet bag or dropped in the grass, where water would quickly soak the bag, rendering it useless. Griplock™ solves this common problem with wet chalk bags by holding the chalk inside a water-resistant
case. And with the ability to customize how much chalk is dispensed and, more importantly, the ease of refilling it, I am proud to say that it's the last chalk bag you ever need to own, saving the planet and your throws at the same time.
Its size and weight were kept to a minimum while still managing to hold more chalk than traditional bags. I 3D print and assemble each product by hand at my home in Denver, Colorado, using green energy from solar power. I also use recycled paper packaging tags, and the plastic itself can be easily recycled and even composted under the right conditions.
Players want premium products that are well-designed, and until now, the best the game had to offer were socks with chalk inside. Now you never have to worry about dropping your chalk bag in a puddle or keeping it out of the rain. Griplock™ is the modern solution to a problem as old as the sport itself, and I hope you choose to try it out.
