Hola, soy Judit, la diseñadora detrás de QuiltFOX Design.
La creatividad ha formado parte de mi vida desde que tengo memoria. Aprendí a tejer junto a mi madre cuando era muy pequeña, empecé a coser a los ocho años y, desde entonces, he estado creando cosas con tela, hilo, arcilla y prácticamente cualquier otra cosa que cayera en mis manos.
Tras muchos años trabajando en la enseñanza y la informática, finalmente retomé mi pasión de toda la vida por la creación y descubrí el patchwork. Lo que empezó como un pasatiempo pronto se convirtió en el diseño de mis propios quilts, y así nació QuiltFOX Design.
Hoy diseño patrones originales para colchas desde mi casa en el campo suizo. Mis patrones van desde lo divertido y original hasta lo moderno y gráfico, pero todos comparten el mismo objetivo: crear colchas que sean un placer confeccionar y que tengan su propia personalidad.
A lo largo de los años, he tenido el placer de diseñar para empresas textiles como Hoffman California, Northcott, Banyan Batiks, Benartex, Clothworks y Riley Blake, y mis colchas han aparecido en revistas y publicaciones de empresas textiles.
Y si te preguntas qué significa FOX en QuiltFOX Design, también hay una historia detrás. Se inspiró en Bingo, mi querido Fox Terrier de pelo duro, que pasó trece años en el corazón de nuestra familia y se convirtió en la musa de algunos de mis diseños más divertidos.

Hi, I’m Judit, the designer behind QuiltFOX Design.
Creativity has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I learned to knit beside my mother when I was very young, started sewing at eight, and have been making things with fabric, yarn, clay—and just about anything else I could get my hands on—ever since.
After many years working in teaching and IT, I eventually returned to my lifelong love of creating and discovered quilting. What began as a hobby soon grew into designing my own quilts, and QuiltFOX Design was born.
Today I design original quilt patterns from my home in the Swiss countryside. My patterns range from playful and whimsical to modern and graphic, but they all share the same goal: to create quilts that are enjoyable to make and have a little personality of their own.
Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of designing for fabric companies including Hoffman California, Northcott, Banyan Batiks, Benartex, Clothworks and Riley Blake, and my quilts have appeared in magazines and fabric-company publications.
And if you’re wondering about the FOX in QuiltFOX Design, there’s a story behind that too. It was inspired by Bingo, my much-loved Wire Fox Terrier, who spent thirteen years at the heart of our family—and became the muse behind some of my most playful designs.
