When a good friend invited me to her poetry reading, I wished to give her a commemorative gift for the occasion. My first thought was this brooch of Frida Kahlo, one of which I also have, a perfect muse for any artist. Thank you, Ruti, for creating this “thing made with love” whose features are fun as well as steeped in mysterious daydreams. And thank you so very much for your extra special gift, made just for me. How lovely and generous a spirit!

Earrings broke the day I got them
